Who Am I? i!! We finally meet!! Well, this 'Who am I' question should really be, who are we? ‘WE’ are a couple of young missionary/ volunteer workers/ parents/ world travellers/ um...a few other things for sure!! We have been born and raised in an awesomely different environment than what most people would consider ‘regular’ society. (Who wants to be ‘regular’ anyway??)
You’re probably wondering what that is! Well, click on the link (it opens in a new window), navigate to the “About the Family” page, and find out!! The explanation there is in much more elegant and eloquent words… But in a nutshell, it’s simply a group of people, who have dedicated their lives to helping others find the true happiness, fulfillment, joy, satisfaction and comfort that comes with REALLY knowing Jesus as a personal Friend, a loving Father, wise counselor, and that One you can ALWAYS depend on in any time of need. The One you run to when you’re happy, to tell all about it…and the One you know will be there for you, when you need that broad, strong shoulder to cry on!!
I?? Ah yes, well, SOMEONE’S gotta make this site and do the writing, so…Nice to meet you!!  Who am I? I’m Joana Tomaz, I’m 27, and have lived my entire life (with the exception of a recent 5 year hiatus), travelling the world doing just what I described above! Along with my wonderful husband, and two terrific kids (yup, even when they’re awake!!), we are soon-to-be residents of the beautiful Costa Rican Pacific Coast! Where together with some very dear friends (and their kids), we’ll be continuing on our lifelong mission* of living and loving, and teaching others how to do the same!!! *In case you’re wondering, we also do what people call ‘volunteer work’ (we just call it, ‘life’), in which we marry the spiritual with the physical, doing whatever we can to help out in the local community and better the lives of those in need around us. But that’s a whole other site, that we haven’t made yet, still working on that (look forward to it)...and so, until I do, you can check out updates on us and our trips here if you’re interested!!
